Espresso for Hue App Reviews

- not running in the background - no possibility to add own szenes - no possibility to manage multiple rooms with different szenes Please add these features and the app gets 5 stars from me. Usability is awsome and way better than goldee.

Is it just me or is blue part of each and every theme now thanks to the blue setting bar at the bottom of the screen?

The sets are too lively (even in tranquil mode" and I always have to "find a new bridge" before I can use the app.

One of the best Hue apps out there. The lighting transitions are fantastic, bathing the room in decorative, but still useable light tones.

I really like the tone of the light, most settings give the impression of natural light, and there are plenty to choose from. The lights only cycle through colours when the app is open, the cycling stops if you put your phone to sleep or switch apps. I would also like the ability to dim the light, as most settings seem to bright for evening. If those two features were added this would be a 5 star app!

So basic it’s not even funny!

Is it just me, or have all scenes become predominantly blue since the last update?

Doesnt work at background, needs to be open for dynamic changes, arka planda calismiyor hikayeden bir program, paraya yazik.

Comes with a ton of great color themes. You can set how quickly the theme colors change, makes for a great lighting atmosphere. Perfect!

Absolutely love this app!! Desperately needs background function though. Only thing holding it back from being absolutely perfect

This app has been very well executed, however there are features missing that are pivotal to a Hue App I.e. Customization and a more carried scene selection. Please release an update with these ideas in consideration, as Im sure Im not the only user wanting to see these features. Then this App will be perfect. Then it will earn its five stars.

How can you have a lighting app on a cell phone with the selling point being the lively light shifting and then not let it run in the background while someone actually uses their phone. Desperately needs background function!

What is the point of having this if I cant run it in the background so I can use the rest of my phone? I see a couple of posts about that here, but are some people able to use it? It appears that way, or else there would a ton of 1 star reviews. What am I doing wrong?

Colors are beautiful. Wish they incorporated more subtle undulating color change like the Goldee app, but the palette is beautiful on Espresso.

Well this is pretty useless. Only works with the app open.

This looks like a great app and I just bought it but it crashes immediately after the splash screen. I tried deleting and reinstalling & even rebooting my phone but no luck. Im happy to change my review once the app is fixed and it can actually run.

Lots of scenes easy to use, one of the most practical hue apps out there for dynamic scenes. I have 14 lights mix of hue, bloom, lux and strips - use this app more than any others. I like how the keep adding new scenes as well.

Love the light mixed themes with the subtle animations. Please update to run this app in the background and it will be perfect.
